Christian Education for Children, Youth and Adults
For Children
Ministry to children is a vital part of our life at BPC. We teach the love of God through meaningful worship, education, stewardship, and fellowship. BPC has an active children's program with a well-trained staff of dedicated volunteer teachers.
Sunday school meets at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays for preschool through grade six. We follow a highly successful workshop rotation formula that we call Covenant Kingdom.
At the 10:30 a.m. worship hour we provide nursery care for infants and toddlers (0-2) and following the Children's Message in worship, church school classes are held for three, four, and five-year-olds.
Each summer, we have a popular week-long Vacation Church School (VCS).

For Youth
At BPC, we hope that young people will grow in their faith and service to Jesus Christ, grow in commitment to each other and the church, and experience God's love and care.
Under the guidance of Youth Director Trish Wallis, our intermediate school, middle school and high school youth have places to go, things to do, and people to see. Youth groups meet together twice a month for fun and fellowship, study, mission work, and worship. Visit the Youth Groups page for more information.

Seventh, and eighth graders meet for a Presbyterian curriculum on faith formation Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. This class is led by a rotating group of devoted teachers.
Associate Pastor Karen Hagy leads confirmation class for ninth graders. In the spring, we welcome our confirmands into full church membership. Click here for more information about confirmation.

Our youth participate in worship services, mission trips, music offerings, and Christian camping at Camp Wilmot. Come join us!

For Adults

Come further your faith journey through education and fellowship!
Adult Education with varying topics is held on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m.
Book discussion groups meet in member homes. These small groups focus on Christian book study, and offer prayer and fellowship.
Women's Bible Study class meets Tuesdays from 9:00-11:00 a.m. and twice a month on Thursday evenings in the Parlor.

Classes and groups typically break over holidays and summer months.
Other special events and programs are offered throughout the year.
