Confirmation Class The Bedford Presbyterian Church offers a six-month confirmation curriculum to students in ninth grade or above. Confirmands attend regular classes on Sunday mornings with the pastor, and are each sponsored by a member (typically an elder) of the congregation. Class topics: * Sacraments * Worship * Presbyterian Polity * Presbyterian History and Beliefs * Christian Basics * The Bible * Prayer and Christian Lifestyle * Creating a Statement of Faith * Service Project/Giving Project Class schedule: * Sundays at 9:30 a.m. November through March * Visit a church member with a deacon * Special attendance at annual meeting * Confirmation dinner meeting with Session * Confirmation Sunday |
