Golf Outing Application
Top 10 Questions You May Have About The BPC Mission Golf Outing
It's FELLOWSHIP...FUN...FOOD...and a MISSION FUNDRAISER!
The First Annual BPC Mission Golf Outing!
Q.1: What's our next Mission trip, now that we have completed our commitment to New Orleans?
A: We don't know yet, but as you know, the need is great in many places. BPC's special form of caring, compassion and elbow grease will be needed somewhere else, of that you can be sure! Tennessee? West Virginia? Maine? We're considering many places where we can do the very best job in Christ's service.
Q.2: Who should go to the golf outing?
A: YOU! And your golf buddies and girlfriends! Yes, golf is not just for men! Please come yourself...and bring others from outside BPC...to share in the fun and support for our Mission teams.
Q.3: Wow, $100! What is that for?
A: The $100 provides a donation to the Mission fund, plus all the greens fees, carts, and food! A great deal!
Q.4: Can I bring my usual golfing friends, or is this just for BPC?
A: We WANT you to bring your golfing buddies and your friends! Part of what we WANT to do is have more people from the greater community join us for this event!
Q.5: How do I register?
A: You can put your name on the sign up sheet and pick up an application in the Fellowship Hall (bulletin board), or from me (George Reese). In the mean time, please just send me an email or give me a call (714-4317) to tell me you want to come, and I'll save a spot for you.
Q.6: I can't play, but I'd like to "Sponsor a Hole". Can I do that?
A: OF COURSE! For a $100 sponsorship, your company's logo (or your family's name) will be posted on a professionally prepared, one by two foot sign (graciously donated) on one of the holes. Just let me know if you are interested in sponsorship.
Q.7: I've played golf, but it's been a long time. I'm not very good.
A: Well, then this outing is PERFECT for you! It's going to be "best ball", which means no matter how "challenged" you may be, you will always be playing from where the the best shot of your team lands! AND...Frank Conery is playing so you won't be the worst golfer there!!!
Q.8: Can I choose who I have in my foursome?
A: YES! You can register as a foursome, or you can just request who you'd like on your team, and we'll do our very best. We aim to please!
Q.9: OK, OK, you've convinced me. What are all the particulars?
A: GREAT! Scroll down and you'll see. It's also on the application, just Golf Outing Application. (See, I aim to please!)
Q.10: When do I need to register?
A: As soon as possible! You don't want to miss out. Remember, you can just reply to this email, and I'll save you a spot!
